YIPPEE - it was World Book Day! Even though we were still in lockdown and the school was partially closed, we still celebrated this day with great gusto!
Everyone (whether at home or at school) brightened their day by dressing up as their favourite book character. Click here for our wonderful WBD gallery
At 11am (again whether at school or at home) everyone was asked to drop everything and read for at least 20 minutes.
There were suggested activities for those at home to follow, to share and enjoy reading the book they are on at the moment. Click here for access to activities and free audio books
At school, children shared stories and enjoyed books with their classmates with a WBD Teams worship in class.
At various times of the day (your class-teacher will let you know when) ALL children in each class, both at home and in school, came together to enjoy their teacher sharing a book with them.
