Here at Wickhambreaux we believe that the Internet is a powerful tool for learning. We use several websites that children have been given logins and passwords for, the links to which can be found here.

In class 4 they use an online maths programme called Mangahigh this is game based maths designed to inspire pupils to work, and think, harder. There are competitions for the pupils with leaderboards and challenges, which the children love.

 

Classes 3 & 4 use an online testing tool called SPaG this is used to identify gaps the children have in their knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar. The new curriculum has many aspects of spelling, punctuation and grammar that are very new to children. This website, therefore, informs teachers where the children are struggling most so that they can target their teaching to these areas.
