As our theme for this year's children's Book Week is Non Fiction - True Stories: Told Well, we chose a dressing up theme of Historical Figures to celebrate World Book Day. Lots of children have told me about the research they have done, using non fiction reading, to help them decide on which figure from history they were going to dress-up as. There has been a wealth of impressive icons, role models and historical heroes wandering around the school today: how amazing!
