Year 6 Become Robotics Engineers!

Year 6 Robots

Year 6 have been putting their computing and design skills to the test by designing, building and programming their own robots using Crumble micro-computers.

Using motors, LEDs and sensors, the children created a fantastic range of inventive robots, bringing their ideas to life through coding and engineering. The robots demonstrated a variety of movements, lights and responses, showing just how much the children had learned about physical computing.

There were some wonderfully creative designs, including a buzzing bee robot and the unforgettable Pierre, complete with his very own spinning baguette! The children showed great perseverance as they tested, debugged and improved their programs to make their robots work exactly as intended.

We were incredibly impressed by the imagination, teamwork and problem-solving skills on display. Well done, Year 6!
