Maple Class visits Walmer Castle

Walmer Castle Trip

To celebrate the end of our Local History topic, Maple Class enjoyed a fantastic visit to Walmer Castle. We had lots of fun exploring the castle, including the Queen Mother’s apartments, as well as the beautiful woodland and gardens.

The children also spent time sketching the castle and looking closely at its historic features. We finished our wonderful day with a trip to the beach and a well-deserved ice lolly!
