Maple Class visit the Canterbury Roman Museum
Roman Museum Trip
Maple Class enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Canterbury Roman Museum as part of their history learning. The highlight of the trip was a hands-on artefact workshop, where children handled real and replica Roman objects and investigated what they were used for. They explored Roman daily life, clothing, and trade through engaging, practical activities.
The class also explored the museum’s preserved Roman mosaic floors and recreated marketplace, bringing their classroom learning to life. It was an interesting afternoon that deepened and consolidated their understanding of Roman Britain.
