Create Day 2025- Maple Class Year 3

On Tuesday, July 8th, Year 3 students took part in Create Day 2025, an exciting event in collaboration with UNICEF's Rights Respecting Schools Award. This project aims to celebrate the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The children were provided with six hours of specially designed dance/music/design lesson activities at school, where students explored the theme of children's rights. On the 8th of July, hundreds of schools across England came together to participate in a nationwide performance, learning and creating as one.

The event was led by dancers and singers from the Royal Ballet and Royal Opera and was broadcasted live from the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden. Year 3 students performed brilliantly and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience, making it a memorable day for all.
