Betteshanger Trip
Betteshanger
Maple and Oak Classes had a fantastic time on their recent trip to Betteshanger Park.
The day began with fossil hunting, as the children searched through the park’s spoil heaps to find ancient remains. Linking closely to their science and geology learning, the children discovered real fossils and explored how rocks can tell the story of Earth’s history.
Later, the children took part in an orienteering adventure, using maps and teamwork to find their way around the park. It was a brilliant opportunity to bring their geography and science work to life in an exciting outdoor setting.
Everyone returned full of enthusiasm and new discoveries!
