Barham Big Band Day 2026

On Tuesday 23rd June, several KS2 children were invited to take part in Barham Big Band Day, a fantastic full-day orchestra and band experience. The children worked incredibly hard throughout the day, learning and performing four pieces, including the classic hit Don't Stop Believin' by Journey.

They were supported by the talented Year 9 GCSE Music students from Langton School for Boys, who provided guidance, encouragement, and excellent musical leadership. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their ensemble skills, perform alongside other young musicians, and experience the excitement of making music as part of a large band. In the afternoon, all of the children came together to perform a concert for the entire Barham Primary School community, as well as parents and family members. Their hard work and dedication throughout the day culminated in a fantastic performance, showcasing everything they had learned. It was a wonderful celebration of their musical achievements.
