Christmas is a really special time of year at Wickhambreaux CEP School. With so many events and activities, we know it can be tricky to keep track of everything. This page gathers all the important information in one place to help you remember what's happening when!

Festive Yule Log Inter-House Competition - Children are warmly invited to bake and/or decorate their own yule log – the more creative, the better! Entries should be brought into school on the morning of the Christmas Fayre, Friday 12 December. Please ensure each entry is clearly labelled with your child’s name, year group, and house colour. House points will be awarded to all entries. All creations will be returned after judging.Monday 1st December
Non-uniform day - bring a Christmassy sweet treat or chocolate for our children’s festive tombola!
Tuesday 2nd December
Christmas Disco - EYFS & KS1: 5:15pm - 6:30pm, KS2: 6:45pm - 8:00pm. £5 per child, including snack and drink. Please pay at school office.
Wednesday 3rd December
PWRR Carol Service - Canterbury Cathedral, children arrive at 6pm, service begins at 7:30pm. Please see Mrs Maisey's emails for more details.
Thursday 4th December
KS2 Alice in Wonderland Theatre Trip - arrive at school normal time. Children will need a packed lunch and wear uniform/P.E kit as normal for a Wednesday as they'll be back for afternoon lessons.
Sunday 7th December
St Nicholas Service - Canterbury Cathedral. Children to wear school jumper/cardigan. Drop off at cathedral 15:00 - 15:25 for rehearsal. Service starts at 17:30, collect children at 18:30. Please see Mrs Maisey's emails for more details.
Tuesday 9th December
Langton Music Christmas Choir Festival Concert - Gulbenkian Theatre. Rehearsal at Gulbenkian from 10:45am to 2:45pm. Return to Gulbenkian for concert, arrive at 6:45pm. Concert tickets available to purchase on Gulbenkian website. Please see Mrs Maisey's emails for more details.
Friday 12th December
Yule Log Inter-House Competition - bring in your festive creations in the morning, ready for judging!
Christmas Fayre - 2 to 4pm, free entry, all welcome. Stalls, raffle, crafts, food and refreshments, tombolas, Santa's grotto. All money raised will support the school.
Tuesday 16th December
KS1 Nativity - two performances at 2.00pm and 6.00pm. Please see letters from Mr Beard and Mrs Maxted for more details.
Wednesday 17th December
School Christmas Dinner - dinners are ordered and paid for in the normal way. Please click here to see the menu.
Carols Around The Tree - 3:30pm to 4pm on the playground.
Thursday 18th December
Class Christmas Parties - fun, games and party food in the afternoon. Children can come to school wearing party clothes.
Friday 19th December
Christingle Service - 1pm, St Andrew's Church, Wickhambreaux. All children to wear school uniform. Parents/carers welcome. SCHOOL FINISHES AT 2PM.
