Under the glorious sunshine, we all sipped tea and relished scones, cake and fresh raspberries, as we were entertained by the fabulous children of our school. There was dancing and singing, both by soloists and class groups. Thank you to Mrs Maisey and Laura Murray for all of their behind-the-scenes music and dance preparations, both today and in the preceding weeks. Thank you also to the many parents, carers and staff members who helped with organising, setting up, serving and then clearing away afterwards.
It was not only a very celebratory way to spend an afternoon, but served as a great fund-raiser too, to support school funds.
