For our STEM week project this year, Woodpeckers and Foxes worked together to explore the different varieties of bread from across the globe. Over the week we made 4 different breads with diverse baking methods. This gave the children a detailed look at breads from different continents and the traditional ways in which they are created. The children loved exploring the different techniques used and were able to both design and create appropriate packaging for their products. At the end of the week the children designed their own bread and were able to explain what the bread was for and how to make it.
