This year we had a 1940s theme to our harvest festival. The children, staff and some parents were donned in 1940s dress, creating a wonderful traditional atmosphere to the church.
We were welcomed to the church by the sound of ringing bells thanks to Mrs Barnes Snr for organising that! The congregation enjoyed an old fashioned order of service, complete with very old hymns, poetry and prayer.
Parents and pupils enjoyed watching vintage British Pathe films of Wickhambreaux and the surrounding area during the 1940s.
The children worked hard on their songs and performances and the resulting service was a success. Thanks to all who took part and a big well done to Mrs Gove for organising it.
